Here's a Q&A with board member, Amy Loh, who's an independent owner of State Farm agency in Arcadia, likes to hike with her dog, Cooper, love volunteering, and is passionate about eating and traveling with friends.
Q: Who are you?
I'm Amy Loh originally from Malaysia and moved to U.S. with my family when I was 11 yrs old to Georgia. I then moved to California in 2010 to explore opportunity and take on some adventures. I love travel, food, hiking, animals and learning. So if I can have a career traveling with my dog eating good food while meeting new friends to learn more about their lives that would be my dream career. As you can tell, I like day dreaming too. HAHA
Q: Why did you join AWIB?
I would to surround myself with amazing people and the group of people at AWIB are some of the most amazing, driven, and multi-talented people I know. What's better than laugh, eat, and spend time with amazing friends?
Q: What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about helping people and educating them on topics that impact their lives such as financial protection and financial growth.
Q: Who is your biggest hero?
My god mother - Kayron Warren (she is a very giving and amazing lady)
Q: What are you currently working on? (This could be your business, your own passion projects, and something you think everyone should know about you)
I am working on several aspects of my life. I have set goals to travel more, give more back to the community like participating as volunteer in a non-profit organization called SCORE to help business owners/entrepreneurs and dedicate my time to AWIB-SC. Also, I am working how to better help my community in regards to financial protection and financial growth education through seminars and getting the words out.
Q: Tell us a little bit about what you do as an independent owner of State Farm agency in Arcadia?
I help families manage the financial risk of every lives, recover from the unexpected and properly plan to help them realize their financial dream. I am Licensed in Property & Casualty, Life & Health, Notary, Mortgage, Series 6 & Series 63 to help individuals and families who is seeking assistance in assets & financial protection through insurance and need assistance on creating a strategic plan to help with financial growth/retirement planning.
